Carvajal turns 22 today

Dani Carvajal celebrates his 22nd birthday today. The full back was one of Madrid’s signings for the 2013/14 season, returning to the club where he started out as a player. He has played 20 matches for Real Madrid’s first team and his record of results is 16 wins, three draws and one defeat.

Carvajal was born on 11 January 1992 in Leganés (Madrid) and his Real Madrid debut came on 18 August 2013, in the first match of this season, against Betis. His arrival at the Whites came in 2002, when he joined the under-11s. The defender rose through the levels until he was promoted to the second division with Castilla in 2012. His good performances during a season with Bayer Leverkusen saw him return to Real Madrid.
